We might be apart from each other this coming Canada Day, but The Outlook hopes the love of our country will bring us together.  At least, in video form!

We want YOU, fellow Canadians, to submit a short video clip (max. length 60 seconds) highlighting your love of all things Canada!  All video submissions will be edited and compiled into one lengthy clip, and will be published on Canada Day, July 1!

What should you do in your clip?  Be creative!  Slap on some red and white, pick a cool backdrop, get the kids involved, wear some face paint, do a dance routine, sing O Canada or even Happy Birthday to our country, or even enjoy some Canadian delicacies (Coffee Crisp, Cheezies, poutine, a cold Molson Canadian, whatever!); do whatever your maple leaf-shaped heart desires!

Some discussion topics may include:  What does being Canadian mean to you?  What are the best things about Canada?  Do you have any favorite Canada Day memories?  The floor is yours, just keep it respectful and tasteful!

It doesn’t matter if you’re from Outlook, Conquest, Elbow, Dinsmore, anywhere else in the Lake Diefenbaker region, or far beyond the local limits!  We welcome video clips by Canadians from coast to coast!

Send your video clips to The Outlook’s Derek Ruttle at the following email address:  dwruttle@hotmail.com.  You can also message us through our Facebook page at FB.com/TheOutlookNewspaper

RULES:  Clips are to be no longer than 60 seconds, and please include the names of all participants and your location.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  Tuesday, June 30 at 12:00 PM.  This is to allow enough time for video editing and publication.

Full-length video will be published on The Outlook’s official website and Facebook page on Canada Day!

Get creative, readers, and let’s salute this magnificent country we all call home!
