Nominations Open for Outlook Community Awards

Event highlights the best and brightest of the local area

It’s once again that time of the year to ask yourself: what Outlook residents, businesses, youths and groups/events have stood out over the past twelve months?

You can answer those questions by picking up a nomination form for the Community Appreciation Awards, which will put a spotlight on deserving recipients by bestowing them the honors of the Jim Kook Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Youth of the Year, and Community Event/Group of the Year awards.

Nomination forms can be picked up at The Outlook, AG Foods, A&E Enterprises, and the Riverbend Co-op Marketplace.  Forms can be dropped off at A&E or they can be mailed to Box 639 in Outlook.  The deadline for nomination forms is Friday, March 13.

The Community Appreciation Awards Night event will take place later this spring at the Outlook Civic Centre.
