Currently there are several phone scams circulating in our community. One in particular is that the caller claims to be from STARS Ambulance. The caller advises that you have won a vehicle, but that they require a gift card to cover delivery fees.  If you ever get a phone call from people asking for money in order for you to obtain a greater prize, it is fraudulent. Never give out personal information or send money if you have been contacted over the phone, via email or regular mail from contacts that are not familiar to you.
