The citizens of the community of Outlook have an opportunity to make a big difference in a seemingly small way with an event taking place tonight.
The Outlook & District Food Bank has organized a Food Drive to take place this evening, Tuesday, May 14 throughout town starting at 6:00 pm.
People are being asked to leave their donations in a grocery bag on their front steps that has been clearly marked, “Food Bank”. Leaving your front light on will also be a big help to those who will be collecting goods.
If you’re curious as to what kind of goods are being requested, some ideas include canned fruit and vegetables, fruit juice, boxed pasta, peanut butter, cereal, and any basic food items.
Organizers are asking for there to be no outdated food, as the Food Bank does not accept or distribute expired food.
