Pedestrians looking to cross at the busy intersection of Saskatchewan Avenue and Franklin Street in Outlook will now have some help these days with the addition of new solar-powered crosswalk lighting that was installed recently.  The system was provided through the Provincial Traffic Safety Fund Grant program and they’re set up at the four points, with buttons to use for easy and much safer access across the street.  With the spring weather now here, there are going to be a lot more people on foot who will be out enjoying the much nicer weather, so the timing seems to have worked out just right for the new equipment’s arrival and installation.
