Detailed information surrounding the new Van Raay & Community Swimming Pool in Outlook has been released by the Outlook Recreation Board, including the admission rates and staff that has been hired.
The facility opened to the public this past Monday on Canada Day.
The pool manager for the season is Nikki Pederson. The debit machine has also been installed at the facility.
Lifeguards for the season include Alexa Ridgewell, Brennan Hefner, Halle Ridgewell, Ainsley Molnar, Levi Ebbert, Maddie Gessell, Teryn Simonson, Kenya Reddekopp (Junior), Vance Hefner (Junior) and Daniel Hofer (Junior). Cashiers are Madi Lockwood and Ricki Lockhart.
The pool’s admission rates are as follows:

8-18yrs - $7.00
19-59yrs - $8.00

8-18 - $110
19-60 - $130
Senior - $100
Family (5 people) - $280.00
Additional Family Member - $55.00
Pricing for pool rentals by the hour have yet to be determined. The Rec Board noted that these admission prices have been decided based on similar pools in other communities.
Lane swimming is expected to start the week of July 8 from 8-9 pm.
A date for the pool’s grand opening event has yet to be decided, though with the relatively short season this year, there is hope that it will be held before the month of July is over.
