Outlook RCMP Busy with Multiple Break-and-Enters

Public warned to stay vigilant as spring approaches and crimes increase

The Outlook RCMP detachment found itself busy last week with multiple cases involving break-and-enter offences, with the incidents taking place in the communities of Outlook, Conquest, and Milden.

First, police were called to two separate break-and-enters in Outlook that happened during the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 4.  Sgt. Mark Langager reported that suspects were able to gain entry into the first business and make away with a number of tires.  However, the suspects were scared off during the second break-in and managed to drive away in a light-colored Ford F150 truck after stealing some automotive supplies.

Later in the week, the RCMP then responded to a break-and-enter that happened at the Co-op located in Conquest during the early morning hours of Thursday, February 6.  The suspects appeared to break down the door and eventually made off with liquor, tobacco, and ammunition.

Police were later called to two break-and-enters that same morning over in Milden, where suspects broke into a business and stole a number of tools and cash.  A second business had a window smashed, but no access was gained.

Outlook RCMP ask that if you have any information related to any of these crimes, please call the detachment at 306-867-5440 or 310-RCMP (7267).

Sgt. Langager noted that with thefts and break-and-enters typically increasing into the spring months, the public should report any suspicious people and/or vehicles.
