The following are highlighted motions and informational points that were made at the meeting, including any motions made after council exited in-camera discussions, which are closed to the public.

Communities in Bloom:

185/20 – Applin/Grotheim:  That the Town of Outlook participate in the 2020 Communities in Bloom Program, Competitive category, and that payment of the $250.00 registration fee be hereby authorized.  Carried.

Rec Plex Grounds Mapping Quote:

186/20 – McLeod/Applin:  That Council accept the estimate of a maximum of $1,000 from Paul Olson of Broderick Garden Center to prepare a landscape drawing of the rec plex grounds.  Carried.

Airport Terminal Building:

190/20 - Simonson/Childerhose:  That we obtain quotes for moving the airport terminal building to the landfill, as well as quotes for water storage tank, furnace and water heater if required.  Carried.

STARS Donation:

197/20 – Childerhose/Grotheim:  That we authorize a donation to STARS, in the same amount as last year, to a maximum of $2,500.00.  Carried.

Letter to P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd:

202/20 – Applin/Simonson:  That a letter be sent to P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. clarifying that, as they are the Town’s engineers regarding the slope stability issues, they are not to provide reviews to outside parties on this matter.  Carried.

Land Lease:

203/20 – Grotheim/Simonson:  That Miles Moore be notified that his land lease will be extended until 2021, on the same terms as the expired lease agreement.  Carried.

Museum:

204/20 – McLeod/Grotheim:  That we authorize the installation of a meter and replacement ball valve at the museum.  Carried.

Cardboard Shack:

205/20 – Simonson/Applin:  That the Stock Car Association be authorized to purchase the old cardboard shack at the landfill, at their offered price of $100.00, providing that it is removed from the landfill by May 15, 2020.  Carried.
