Sun West School Division Creates 'Learn from Home' Hub

The Sun West School Division released the following information regarding a special 'Learn from Home' hub that parents and students can use in the time away from classes:

Sun West has developed a Learn at Home hub for parents and students to assist with learning at home. This is housed in the Sun West Resource Bank which is filled with thousands of educational resources.

To access the Learn at Home resources, you can follow the linkhttps://resourcebank.ca/hubs/LearnHome, or go [resourcebank.ca]resourcebank.ca and click “Hubs” and select the icon pictured to the left.

The focus is on 6 Every Day Learnings (Read, Write, Math, Movement, Creativity & Science/Social/Passions) and resources are provided for you based on those 6 learnings as well as by grade grouping.  New and exciting resources will be added regularly.

If you feel you require further training on how to effectively use The Resource Bank, you can visit our training site at https://resourcebanktraining.weebly.com/.  Head to the “Learn the Basics” tab on the top right and you will find videos on how to create an account, search, save, and more.  You may wish to create folders of resources for your child to access easily, and there is a video there to support you if you need assistance with this task.    We hope you find this hub helpful and that it allows you and your child to continue learning in an engaging and meaningful manner.
