There isn’t much information to share right now on the subject, but it has been confirmed that the Town of Outlook is proceeding on the construction of a new fire hall for the local fire department.
The adopted November 27 town council meeting minutes show a motion that was made and carried after council exited in-camera discussions.
“That we build a standalone fire hall to be located adjacent to the Town shop.”
The notion of a new fire hall is something that has been discussed in many circles for quite some time. No other information aside from the official go-ahead by the Town has been discussed. The Town will work on getting plans made up before any costs can be estimated, and a start date will likely be determined after that.
