Lakers Not So Lucky Versus Outlook

Ice Hawks take solid win at home

The Outlook Ice Hawks welcomed the Lucky Lake Lakers to the Jim Kook Rec Plex on Friday night, November 23, but the niceties were merely a formality, and everyone got their game faces on as soon as the teams took to the ice and the action got underway.

The Hawks played a swift game that kept them paces ahead of Lucky Lake in both offense and defense, and the result saw Outlook take a lead on the scoreboard that they maintained throughout the night.

By the time the final minutes were approaching, it was all but over for the Lakers, try as they did to mount any form of a solid comeback against the determined Hawks.

With the final buzz of the clock, Outlook left their home ice the victors with a solid 6-3 win over Lucky Lake.

Goals scored by the Lakers were made by #4 Marselis Subban and #22 Braden Oleksyn (2).  Goals scored by the Ice Hawks were made by #90 Steven Lee (3), #8 Adam Zbitniff (2) and #24 Scotty Stewart.

Outlook’s next home game is this Friday night, November 30 when the team plays host to the number-one-ranked Delisle Bruins.
