Pee Wee Ice Hawks Defeat Macklin

Outlook squad dominant on the ice

While the senior Ice Hawks were on the road this past Saturday night – losing to Lucky Lake at a score of 11-3 – the Pee Wee Outlook Ice Hawks hosted the squad from Macklin during the early evening in some hometown action, with a large crowd of parents and supporters in the stands watching the kids play.

Both rosters played hard and things stayed even in the first period, with the scoreboard sitting at two goals apiece after the clock expired.

With 8:47 left in the second period, things came to a standstill after Macklin’s goalie suffered a nose injury, putting a brief delay on the proceedings as both teams went back to the dressing rooms for a few minutes.  When the game resumed, it was all Outlook on the scoreboard, as they racked up a handful of goals to jet further ahead and kept Macklin at bay for the remainder of the action.

In the end, the Pee Wee Ice Hawks nabbed the win at a score of 8-2.

Goals scored by Macklin were made by #2 Kaegan Lowe and #3 Hudson Krieger.  Goals scored by Outlook were made by #7 Reed McLachlan (5), #9 Evin Tan (2) and #17 Sawyer Spence.

The Pee Wee Ice Hawks are comprised of Brody Harris, James Wagner-Mitchell, Jayden Verwimp, Reed McLachlan, Thomas Lucas, Evin Tan, Brayden King, Isaac Lammers, Reise Dolan, Ava Clark, Nathan Chabot, Alex Phillips, Dylan Currie, Hunter Vanghel, Kolby Gibson, and Grady Schultz.
